Albuquerque's award winning BioPark is just one of many family-friendly attractions throughout the city.
Albuquerque's variety of ecosystems and abundant natural beauty are showcased through a number of resources devoted to the high desert environment. Visit the Albuquerque BioPark's Botanic Garden, Zoo, Aquarium and Tingley Beach fishing lakes. Stroll along the natural river and learn about the valley and its inhabitants at the Rio Grande Nature Center.
There are also several amusement parks and family fun centers in Albuquerque for kids of all ages.

The Albuquerque Biological Park is a unique environmental museum comprising four facilities.
Albuquerque Aquarium, Rio Grande Botanic Garden, Rio Grande Zoo and Tingley Beach (fishing lakes). Our mission is to provide Albuquerque residents and visitors with exciting new recreational opportunities and to foster environmental awareness, education and stewardship. The BioPark is a division of the City of Albuquerque's Cultural Services Department.
Zoo
Founded in 1927, the 64-acre ABQ BioPark Zoo offers guests close encounters with exotic and native animals.

Tingley Beach
Enjoy nature just a few minutes from downtown Albuquerque. Fish, walk, relax, sail a model boat or start a bike ride or hike at Tingley Beach.

The Arts Alliance, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, provides communication, service, advocacy, recognition and celebration for the metropolitan area's five major arts disciplines: dance, theater, visual, music and literary.
The Alliance developed the Cultural Plan for the City of Albuquerque and is the city's designated Arts Agency to implement the plan. The Arts Alliance coordinates the Arts in Education Task Force and the Heritage Council, which fosters appreciation of multiculturalism in Albuquerque. It supports the arts through workshops, mentoring and access to arts information; and recognizes excellence in the arts annually through the prestigious Bravos Awards.
